Forgiveness, Sincere Forgiveness

As I sit here and type, I am honestly grateful for a God that gives all of us grace and mercy. Recently, I have honestly questioned God as to why I am not reaching the next level like I fully want to. Or better yet, why am I continuingly procrastinating, when I made a vow that I was going to fully devote my time sincerely to Him. Well, today on Monday 4/20/2020 to be exact, He spoke clearly to me and said that in order for me to reach all of my blessings, I had to forgive those who had done me wrong. But this time it had to be SINCERE FORGIVENESS. I was puzzled because I thought that I had already "forgave," but one thing about forgiveness in God's eyes, is that if we say that we have forgiven someone, that means that everything a person has ever done will now be thrown in the sea of forgiveness, never to resurface again. And that was just it, I would say that I "forgave" only to turn around to make what hurt me a topic of discussion.

Because of this, I had to make some life altering decisions...

1. Remain hurt and not obtain all the blessings that God has for me.

or

2. Forgive those who have wronged me and ask God to completely HEAL my heart and help me to move on and receive everything that he has spoken over my life.

I don't know about you all, but number two sounds like the best and healthy way to go. I don't know who it is that you might have to forgive or ask for forgiveness from today, but don't allow the devil to hold you back from receiving your blessings from God anymore.

Today, I choose to SINCERELY FORGIVE because where the Lord is taking me, I don't have time to focus on who did or didn't do what. And today my friend, God wants us all to choose forgiveness and rid people of the debt that was once owed to us.

Are you willing to do that for him today?
